What is AMC?

AMC stands for American Mathematics Competition (AMC). It is an annual national competition organised by Mathematical Association of America (MAA) since 1950 with the aims to strengthen students’ mathematical capabilities, inspire them to pursue careers in STEM, and provide a path to future educational and scholarship opportunities

Awards

Awards in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC) are given for high achievement in the contests themselves (e.g., certificates for perfect scores or high-ranking individuals) and serve as a pathway to more prestigious national and international events like the American Invitational Mathematics Exam (AIME), the USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO), and the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
